Christmas Parties!

Christmas parties have all begun! Our first for the year was the Stillwater National Bank company party. I was hired on :) to be the Santa photographer for all the kiddos, and my kiddos were invited to join! (Thanks, Anitra!) Each child got a tee-shirt from the event as well as a gift tag cookie with their name on it. SO cute!
Evan's 2nd experience with Santa didn't go over really well...

But, Emma of course, was a happy little clam!
Yesterday was holiday party #2 - Girl Scouts. The girls went for a bowling party. At first, Emma was reluctant and said she only went bowling if Grammie was with her. (Fond memories of the past, I guess), so I promised that when Grammie comes to town, we'll all go bowling, and she was pacified enough to go. It is so wonderful to me that her grandma is so important in her life, even though she lives far away.
When we got there, her friend, Parker, was there for a birthday party and wandered over to see Emma. (Nice army helmet!)

Emma was excited when it was her turn to bowl.
Hoping for a strike! It never did come, but she had 2 pins left quite a few times!
Emma is an organizational addict, (I wonder where she gets THAT from...) and likes to make checklists, shopping lists, to-do lists, inventory lists, and any other kind of list you can think of. Last night John came across this list of things to do...
1. Destrackt Evan
2. then play with pollys
3. In my room or not?
Oh, the life of a 6 year old. :)
