Happy Sunday!

I hope this finds everyone doing well! We are enjoying a VERY rare free day to relax! :) Still in our pajamas at 11:30! Yay!

Yesterday was full of great events. John's parents came to visit and brought Emma's cousins down to play while his mom & I along with my sister & mom went to the baby shower...which was AWESOME! I can't believe I have missed out on such fun with my past babies! I have come to realize what great friends & family I have surrounding me. At this point in my life, I don't think there's anything I lack or long for. I have a wonderful, fulfilling life. :)

I am waiting on pictures from a couple friends, but then I can share all the fun! It made us all a lot more excited for the arrival of Evan! Only 1 month to go!!!

Here's one picture of us all..although Amy is hiding & Susan (one of the hostesses) is blocked way in the back! :( The other hostess, Jessica, is next to me in white)

Emma had her last tee-ball game yesterday as well. She got her team pictures, and I will post them for you to enjoy!

Well, we're off to do nothing! Have a great weekend! Pin It

Art Gallery Reception...

So tonight was the reception for the artists participating in the Exhibit One show. Emma was really excited to show her grandparents her lovely paintings (which all sold!!).

In other news, Evan & I went for another non-stress test this morning. We passed with flying colors. :) Yay!
I overslept because of the thunderstorm (which, by the way, thank God for Oklahoma weather - I hate Cali weather!!), but because of that, I had no time to get Emma & I ready. Luckily, Uncle Kurt could come over and spend time with her while I headed off to the doctor.
Tomorrow is an exciting day! Emma has her last wee t-ball game and team party, and I get my first baby shower! Although I;m on bedrest, I told my doctor that I've had 3 children and I am NOT about to miss my first and last baby shower this time!!! Luckily, I got a pass to go & sit on the couch :)
Well, I'm back to bed! Pin It

Newest Pictures!

This is Evan's newest ultrasound pictures (2D). This is his face - a rare shot without the hand over his face! Here is a really cute one of his pouty lips & nose. (Of course, he moved his hand back to his face!)
I'm still on house arrest, which is getting REALLY boring! I don't watch much TV, and I have no interesting books to read, so I just lay around thinking of lists of things I need to do. I remember the book "The Big Ball of String" from when I was small. This boy was sick in bed and made all kinds of cool stuff using his big ball of string. That would be cool.
Luckily, my friend Nicole comes over with new baby Ruthie to keep me company with hilarious stories of people we know.
Now that Emma is done with her art camp, she will be home with me everyday . The trick now will be to entertain us both from my bed! Yikes!
Thank goodness we moved back to family! I don't know what I would do without my mom helping tote her around to and from activities!

Home again!

Well, for everyone that didn't know, we were in the hospital all morning & night yesterday. BUT, we're home today! They couldn't find anything that caused the bleeding, or even where the blood was coming from, but Evan looks great and we'll just have to be monitoring him really close for awhile (although they already have been)! I am on pretty strict bedrest through the weekend, but I got special permission to go sit on the couch (and that's IT!) for my first ever baby shower! (I was NOT about to miss this one, too!!) Sooo...if I don't email you back or return calls immediately, you know it's because I am busy getting bedsores incubating my little egg. :)

Anyway, here is a picture of Emma at a birthday party this weekend at the bowling alley. Her friend, Eli turned 5. Happy Birthday!

A Random Tuesday...

Good morning! This is day one of our family blog. We'll see how long we can keep it going!

Emma has been attending "Art Camp" last week & this week, which she absolutely loves. She got an "Artist of the Day" Award last week and was EXTREMELY proud! Three pieces of her art will be on showcase starting today at a local art exhibit (Exhibit One, STillwater, OK). Half of the proceeds of sale will be donated to the Turning Point Ranch, which provides therapeutic horseback riding for children with special needs.

She is also playing wee t-ball this summer. She has her last game Saturday morning.

She's really liking it, but it's been so hot outside that she gets tired pretty quick. Luckily, there's a Braum's Ice Cream store just down the street!
Evan is growing really fast! He's already a week ahead in size - following the footsteps of his big sibs. We go in for induction the morning of July 28th. He will be 37 weeks along instead of 40 due to Eli's pregnancy. Emma is ready to finally become a big sister!

Lilypie Expecting a baby Ticker

We have started a business called "Kindermusik" here, and the first classes start the last week of August! It's exciting & scary at the same time. It has taken - and is still taking - quite a bit of time & effort, which will hopefully pay off! Pin It
